The Authors

Michelle and Danelle are two adventurous sisters-in-law experiencing the creaks and groans, laughter, and heartache of the aging process, and want to highlight the wonders, triumphs, and struggles of growing older. We both love living in Las Vegas, as do the protagonists of the first novel in our A-Z series entitled Old People. We put the emphasis on the “people” part of that phrase, as opposed to the “old” part, because we know that people are people, and “old” is a subjective descriptor, which we explore as a major theme in this series.

We are married to brothers, who sometimes seem like they could be the same person, but in reality are very different, as are we quite different ourselves. Danelle loves sports and is a born extrovert. Michelle likes to say she likes activities, but not sports, and is an introvert at heart. We both enjoy cooking and sewing, hiking, and reading. We both love spending time with our families. We each raised three boys and one girl, who are all adults now, many with families of their own, providing us with beloved grandchildren. We enjoy working together collaborating on this twenty-six-novel project. We play off each other’s strengths and fill in each other’s plot holes. We hope to finish this project before we die. Danelle writes technically for her own company, producing social media content and product information. Michelle has written home & family articles for a local newspaper.
