All Aboard!
What would you do if your deceased relative left you a huge amount of money but specified how you had to spend part of it, to get the rest of the inheritance? What if you had to plan and pull off a cruise for fifty of your closest “over age fifty” friends and relatives– some of them well over fifty.
Andrew and Abigail are faced with this challenge in this light-hearted novel. It doesn’t seem too difficult for Abigail, since she’s a bossy extrovert and loves to plan a party. It’s a lot more difficult for Andrew who is thrifty, a homebody, and bordering on curmudgeonly.
You will love to meet their friends and family: there’s Hank, Abigail’s sweet, hard-of-hearing father; three spunky women in their 90s who like to hula; Cousin Olivia, who just may have it in for Abigail; Kenneth and Quinn—will they actually get together? And many more. You’ll also be introduced to Brooke, Abigail’s sister, and her husband, Ben, whom you will get to know much better in the soon-to-come Book B.
“I write to you today, concerning a significant contribution from your father to the new Arnold Legacy Trust. The amount distributed from this trust is dependent upon certain stipulations designed to align the bequest with your father’s wishes and long-term objectives.”
